I Love my Beads and Trinkets!

It's been SO dreary here today, not even able to see the first mountain ridge. Spent my time inside, and made a bracelet. All Swarovski Crystals - Antique Rose and Rosaline Gold. Gosh, great colors for spring. Made a clasp with Jewelers Golden wire. I'm pleased with this one!

The View From Here....

Evening.

After a harried day slaving over hot computers, I find myself drawn to the window. Some evenings the sunset combines the most unlikely colors and contrasts. Tonight was one of those nights. I gather in what is really important in life looking at the world from this perspective. I hear a train down the valley and planes landing several miles away. The bustle of the world is slowing with the coming night. A peaceful ending to each day looking over this view.

Edit PostsI'm trying to continue with this creative streak. While I was surfing the other day I came across a processing center for Arizona Turquoise. The amazing variety of colors in this gemstone left me speechless ! So much for my thinking I knew anything about the Turquoise gemstone - it's not just blue any longer. Colors run the gamut from white (!!) through blue, green, yellow, browns - even purple. I'm learning. The more I discover in life, the more I realize how much more there is to learn and know. I suspect that this is a good thing - keeps life interesting.
