A December Sky

Winter storms are just an inevitable part of December. Not that I mind snow, I just wish it would stay off the streets. An automated kind of thing. Snow on the trees, and in the parks. Snow on the mountainsides and in the forest, but not on sidewalks or streets. Seems a very fair way of dealing with the inconveniences of winter.
But, the very best part of winter storms may be the immediate aftermath of the storm, when the air is crisp and clear. The sky starts to lighten and brightens up the dreary landscape of the wintry streets below. I saw that sky the other day, and took this shot.
